Vision of Seed

Jerry Savelle talked about the importance of Knowing God’s ways. He said that Genesis was a good place to start.

Genesis 1:11-12 . . . .God spoke everything into being.

God created all plants having seed within them. Reproduction was established through seed. Like beget like. The seed was within each plant. Not one master seed scattered. But each had the seed growing within it.

The seed is meant for reproduction. Each plant – each individual plant was meant to have a part in reproduction and filling the Earth. Each plant contains multiple seeds. Not just one. Each year the plants would produce another crop of seed. Some plants complete a life cycle in one season, some in two years and some for a long time.

But they all produce seed or the creation effort would have died after a few years. Some of the seed are miss formed and unable to produce. Some fall on the wrong place to grow. Animals and insects eat and destroy some seed. But enough is produced to propagate and fill the Earth.

One seed planted in fertile ground can produce many more. In time this productive plant can grow and take over – filling a large area, creating meadows, forests, bogs.

Some seed in less productive ground struggle to produce and stands alone like a single tree on a crag of rock.

If a plant does not produce offspring, when it dies it is gone. Its genetic sequence disappears. Horticulturists use reproductive sequences to isolate Yellow Roses for example.

What an example of God’s Way. Even the grasses of the field reproduce and populate Earth. We Christians have been made in the image of God. When we produce Spiritually we reproduce God’s likeness and populate Heaven. That is a big part of what we are to do. If we do not produce new offspring then we have violated on of God’s Ways for us to live.

If you plant a grass seed in a container it will sprout. If it does not produce, then when it dies the container remains empty. (There is a counter story here about Satan and the curse on the Earth – it would actually be filled with weeds which were not planted there).

If that single grass plant produces seed and they grow then the container will be filled with beautiful green grass.

It is true that each plant produces many seeds and one individual can populate a large area. But when each one does it own part, vast areas of plush growth are seen.

So what is the story? What is God’s Way? What does this have to do with or mean to Me a Christian?

Grow where you are at. We have bountiful seed within us – Rivers of flowing water pouring from within. Plant the seeds. Let them grow. It is each one of our parts to produce and fill the Earth (Heaven).

Most Christians are content to let a few do all of the seed sowing. Thinking there is enough planters already. “I have other things to do but will support them in their efforts” as if this can ease the conscious.

You do not see this in the plant world, a bunch of grass leaning towards and supporting a central stem and watch it throw out seed far and wide.

Some plants burst out with a splash of grandeur spreading seed afar like the dandelion. Others are more humble and merely drop their seed by their feet.

It is interesting that the mighty oak is such. The acorns drop straight down. But it does sow its seed, thousands of them. God in His infinite ways has produced a way for these offspring to be moved to better locations. (Another story about the helper squirrels).

Produce many Christians, it is your divine duty placed in your DNA by God. Don’t let others do it and think you have taken part. We each have unique seeds within that must be sown.

The seeds and sowing are witnessing and evangelism.

(There is another story about seed sowing as pertaining to tithing and offerings).

Warning for America

In the past few days every time God leads me to Scripture to read it is about His warnings and harsh dealings with Jerusalem, Judah, and Israel: Lamentations, Ezekiel, Judges, Jeremiah, Zechariah, etc.

God’s chosen people, the Jewish nation, had hardened their hearts against God. They have set up idols to worship on high places. They have traded belief and faith in God for inanimate objects with eyes that can not see.

These scriptures scream to me about America. We have fallen away from belief and faith in God. Have you ever seen the all Seeing Eye on the back of a dollar bill? Money is the God of America. It even has eyes that can not see.

God dealt harshly with Judah. He sent them into captivity. He turned His face away from them even though they promised to repent and come back to Him.

Are we as a nation any better than they? America was founded on Biblical principles and belief in an Almighty God.

Gone is prayer in schools. We murder unborn children by the millions. We kill ourselves when the economy turns against us. We play sex games that are unholy to God the Creator.

We need to turn around our ways and give honor and worship back to God before He turns His back completely on us.

Maybe this is all in His plan. Have you ever wondered why America is not written about in the last days? Armageddon involves Russia, China and Israel; America is not a player in the last and final battle. Is this because we have failed God and been put aside?

Wake up America!

It is not too late to reinstate God as the head of our country. There is a remnant of us who are earnestly praying for revival across the United States.

2Ch 7:14  if My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Death Hold – Jim

I have been relieved of a great and ponderous burden from upon my neck. It fell deftly yesterday as I rebuked the age old death hold that was placed there by a sinning minister who had fallen into a trap of homosexuality (not with me but others).

This great wrong came at a very critical time in my new Christian growth. It clipped the budding growth of my youth in the Lord. This offensive spirit, thrown on me, quenched the rapid vibrant growth that, by all means, should have propelled me into greatness in the Lord.

For thirty six years I wandered through a desert of my own that was barren of fruit. There were only other hurting souls wondering within the bounds of this waste land to commune with. Others were there who knew nothing of the richness that God has provided for all Christians to take hold of and draw near to their inner being. They were a cohort of lost hurting minimal Christians. No strength was found within this loosely formed band of brothers.

What a dismal time this was. No one ever got excited about the power available from the God of the Universe. No one experienced any great miracles or even itty bitty small ones, just a dismal lonely tiring boring experience. This is just where the evil one wanted us to be. We were quietly pushed out of the way where no one would notice us. Most assuredly this was a place where nothing spiritual would ever happen to or through us. We were just a burden on Christ and the might He had died to give us.

Dying alone in this desert would have been better than just existing over the realms of slowly passing time. But for some reason I was allowed to live, though many death attacks were thrown at me, time and time again, designed to lay me dead and useless for all time. But something kept me going always forward one slow small step at a time, ever onward, ever upward.

(I am right now listening to a message from Pastor Bagwell about the prophets of Baal. He is teaching about the sexual sins they welcomed into their church and the depravity that overtook the then current teachings) WOW! How timely.

What a time of torment this was to my spirit man. Cut off from the Christ that I once found dear and let slip away from my bosom. The closeness that once, for a brief moment, was mine is now seemingly lost forever. Frustration abounded in every area of my life. Nothing seemed to have lasting meaning as I was content to let whatever would happen to happen. No direction and no goals or visions to lead me into the heavenly realm.

Looking back I can now see that I was spiritually dead. DEAD. No growth, no inspiration, no meaning. There was just a lonely waiting for the eventuality of death and the end to take over and relieve me from this meaningless world.

BUT. There was something looming in a secret small place within my being. A small spark of hope. A vestige of spiritual truth. One day a book caught my eye that prompted me to seek out a different church. One with a spirit filled ministry like I saw in the pages of this revelation I had found. I pursued but did not catch on to the reality of what was available.

Many years later, after my job, finances and wife were taken away, I again ran into a message that prompted me to seek help once again. A DVD on prosperity from Paula White propelled me again into a search for a church teaching the wholeness of the Spirit of God as I saw.

God placed Word of Life into my sights. I immediately fell in love with the new teachings found there. I committed my life to the teachings of Pastor Bagwell and became a regular attendee. I quickly became part of the “Church within the Church”.

So the original journey has been begun anew with vigor and excitement as I seek to make up lost time. Stretching forward and upward towards the High Place so frequently spoken of by Pastor.

Where this all lead is the message of another story at a later time. I just know that God is once again with me (actually He never left, I just closed my eyes to His presence) as I fly over obstacles to the goal set before me/us. Oh! Yea! I forgot to mention that my lovely bride, Ana, is faithfully at my side as a partner, companion and fellow traveler as we transverse this marvelous world in search of lost souls to reap for the Kingdom of God

Salvation – Jim

I was born a Catholic. Really that is all that you have to do. The priests take care of everything else except your assurance of salvation, ever.

In 1972 I had moved into a basement apartment in an old three story house. On the first floor there were three young women who were energetic. They kept talking about Christ and salvation and how He changes lives.

In August of 1972 on of them prompted me to watch a telecast of EXPO-72 from Texas. I believe that Bill Bright and Bill Glass were the major speakers.

My life was in a tailspin downward and I found frustration in most of what I was doing. That night after the show I went to bed in misery. I remember the words that one of the Bill’s had said “If your life is not going right to invite Jesus into your heart as Lord and Savior”.

As I lay there in bed I asked Jesus to come into my life (at least for a little while) still feeling the fear of my Catholic upbringing. I immediately fell to sleep.

The next morning I awoke feeling as if I was floating a foot off the bed. I had been born again. Most of what I had heard about Christ and the Bible in the past was actually true. Jesus, Peter, Paul, and John were real. I mean real, not fictitious players in a story.

That afternoon I bought a Living Bible and started reading from Genesis onward. I devoured it. I started attending the Gospel Chapel that Sunday. The first week I was taken in as a brother by Richard Burson, the minister. Richard asked me over for dinner and started meeting with me often for discipleship.

I became totally immersed in the work at the Chapel. Going to church early to meet with Richard and several other young men. Making coffee. Putting messages on the marquee outside. Baking bread for communion. Cooking meals for the entire congregation. Treasurer, Sunday school superintendent.

Richard and I attended the Upper Room Fellowship at the local prison each week. I attended several gatherings and Bible studies. This is where I received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.

Eventually from there I was sent off to be a short termed missionary with Literature Crusades.

Oral Roberts – Jim

In the late 50’s when I was 10 or so years old my grandfather got a TV (Black and White of course).

I was in the living room on a Saturday watching TV by myself. We could get three stations, one sort of OK and the other two with a lot of snow.

I remember seeing an Oral Roberts telecast. Being brought up a Catholic my family would make fun of Oral and his healings. They would say that they were all staged and that he was a phony.

I watched the show nevertheless since there was not much else on. At the end of the show Oral asked people in the tent and at home if they wanted to know that they would go to Heaven when they died.

As a Catholic I knew I would go to Heaven if I had not sinned since my last confession, which happened a lot. I never had assurance of really going to Heaven most of the time.

So I raised my hands when he asked us to and prayed along with him as he recited the sinner’s prayer for salvation. I remember being so scared of someone seeing me with my hands raised. What if I was found out? The Catholics spoke hell and damnation on anyone believing anything else that the Catholic Church.

Something happened in my life. The seed was planted and sprouted. It took 20 years before I made a heart felt confession for Christ. But I knew within that God had a plan for my life and was going to use me to do some good in the world.

My fledgling faith and mom’s intense commitment to the Church molded me into a soft spoken deeply driven individual. Yet my life did not play out the part until late in life.

After much prayer and wrestling with God and my past I have broken free from the stronghold which strangled my life for so long. My involvement with Word of Life Christian Center was a major turning point for me, along with meeting and marrying Ana.

Ishmael Ministry – Jim

In 1975 I came up with a desire to become a missionary. This happened after spending a week in the American Bible Society booth at the Kansas State Fair. There I worked with a missionary from Peru. My interest was whetted but I now see it was all for the wrong reason.

I saw and felt the romantic exciting traveling part and not the reality of what the work would entail. I also did not have a calling from God but a calling from my need to be doing something else with my life.

After a futile attempt to go to Germany I found out about Literature Crusades in the Chicago area. I applied and eventually was accepted. Although I failed the language test and could not go on a team to Bogotá, Columbia.

Six months of intensive, eight hour a day training ensued. We became Bible scholars in short order. Most aspects of mission’s work was covered. We spent innumerable hours at O’Hara Airport and the Schaumberg Mall doing religious surveys. This part of the training was ill prepared and I have written another article about it.

After graduation we were off to Stuart, Florida to set up a church. That was the goal, go somewhere where there was not a church like us and set one up.

This was a very frustrating time. Most of the time was spent fixing up the little house they found for us to rent. Then trying to go door to door and take the survey.

We also struggled with a couple of neighborhood kids meetings. But the most frustrating part was doing church. We rented a building and went early and set things up. After church we had to tear everything down. The WE was the team, the church attendees did nothing to help. It was OUR church not theirs.

The people there we very uncommitted to what we were doing. Even the Bible studies we held were sparsely attended.

Now comes the part that destroyed my ministry for almost 40 years.

While still in training we were repainting the interior of several of the large team houses. I was in a bathroom and the president and second in command of Literature Crusades were in the bedroom painting the walls. We all took a break and I went back early to continue painting. These two returned not knowing that I was in the bathroom.

They started discussing the team being sent to Florida, which I was a member of. Their discussion was about a co-founder of Emmaus Bible College who was becoming involved in the work in Stuart. It seems that he had received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit while praying privately in a park.

They were discussing the fact that if he moved to Stuart to take over the church that the team would have to pulled out. Literature Crusades could not be involved with a Spirit filled man. They would loose financial support from many of their patrons, who believed as they that the workings of the Spirit were not for our times.

Strange as it seems, I had received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit two weeks after I accepted Christ as my savior in 1972. Unfortunately I had started attending the Gospel Chapel in Hutchinson, Kansas right after my salvation. These churches were of the same mind on the Spirit.

(So I lived a lie for 40 years as I hid my Holy Language from everyone.)

When our time came to move to Florida I knew secretly that our time there could be limited. Indeed it was. C. Earnest T. was indeed involved in the newly started church and was doing a lot of the teaching. Three months later he decided to move to Stuart and become totally involved.

The leaders of LC flew down to talk with him. And then they informed us that the team was being disbanded and we were to go home.

So with bitterness against man and God we left. This started a period of desert like living as I held on to God but gave up on organized Christianity.

It was not until just last year, that I learned through teachings at WOL, about having an Ishmael ministry. One that is started on ones own volition and without direct “Thus sayeth the Lord” vision.

This has dramatically changed as I now set out with Ana to complete the calling God placed on my heart so many years ago.

Early Training – Jim

When I went to Literature Crusades in Chicago the training was great. We had intensive Bible training for six months.

We studied Old and New Testament, Children ministries, Cults, Homiletics, Exegesis, Apologetics, Etc.

But not much on witnessing. Yet that was what we were to do as we went out as teams during our training. We went door to door, to the Airport (amongst the Hari Krishna’s) and to the mall. Our tool was doing a supposedly Christian survey.

“Hello I am doing a survey” …

I hated it. I felt like I was intruding on people. Finally I gathered the courage and resolve to do the survey but internally hoped they would not respond. If they did!!! Then what??? I would have to defend my Christianity. Yikes!

Some people had results but not most. It was just an errand we had to do as part of the training. But we were not trained to do what we were supposed to do.

Then off to Florida into the midst of the retirement world. Most of the people in Stuart, Florida were retires from the Eastern Seaboard. They had lived their lives in New York and New Jersey.

It was our job to go door to door taking these surveys. Wow! What a failure I felt like. One man tried to convert me. Many told us off “we moved here to get away from you kind of people” “get the h… out of here”, in a New Jersey Italian accent.

My time seemed to be wasted and I had an overwhelming guilt from my inadequacy to do what was thought to be the prime reason for my existence.

As seen by Ana.

Praise God!

God has proven himself again. For we know that He is a God that should not lie.

On Monday evening we went into the highways and by ways.  We joined “Mean Street Ministry” on the streets of East Colfax.  As we gathered we felt the excitement of the event.  We were there reaching the lost for Christ.

The director of the ministry was over taken when he seen so many had come to minister.  There were 20 or more along with a Mexican Pastor with about 12  members of his church.  Last week it was different, there were just a few. I felt as the Lord was telling me that the harvest was plenty but the labors were few.  But this time was different there were so many present.

The night was warm and the excitement was great.  As we entered the parking lot of the Kings Hotel, where we had been turned away from last week, we were divided into groups of three.

As we knocked on the doors we felt a rush of the Holy Spirit leading us into the hotel where there were drugs, people living in hiding, and those that God was leading us to.  .

The first thing that was offered to them was food that opened doors for us to minister.  As we prayer for those in need we felt that God was standing before us. We ministered to those that knew Him, those that accepted Him and those that wanted to keep on living the same life style.

The last family we ministered to were from Mexico.  As we ministered to the family the gentleman of the group ask question.  When is God coming? All his question that made sense because he wanted answers. We did just that; we explained that Jesus was the way.  When the plan of salvation was presented to him, his wife and their son and grandson thry were more that ready to ask God into their lives.  We could see by the expression on their faces that God was doing something great in their spirit.

We explained that God makes no mistakes He  had us there for a reason. To tell them that Jesus died for their sins and loved them very much.  I explained to them that God was a  gentleman who would never force himself on them. They we were given a free will to chose life or death, that he stands at the door knocking, if they opened up their hearts he will come in and become their Lord.

They were serious about their decision. We we were invited into their apartment and knew that Holy Spirit had convicted them.  As we repeated the sinners prayer with them we felt such an excitement.  We could feel that angles filled the air and were dancing with us as we rejoiced.  I know that the angles were rejoicing in heaven. For the bible say that when a sinners accept Christ the angles rejoice.

As we left the area Jim and I sang praises to GOD giving Him thanks for what he had done. On this out reach we had five that gave their hearts to Christ.

We praise god for what He is doing we know He has more in store for those that are willing to step out and do His will.

You are more then welcomed to come and join us in reaching the hurting world with the love of Jesus Christ.

We love you guys and again thanks for your prayers

Love you Christ,

Anna and Jim Gregg

As seen by Jim.

We went to King’s Inn on East Colfax. This is the hotel we attempted to go to last week but were turned away because of a movie being filmed there. See previous article “April 13, 2009”.

There were about 30 people who showed up for the outreach. Al, Ana and I were teamed up and went to the first floor of the South building.

Knock, knock, “Meanstreet Ministries” called out Al at every door with dead silence except for one “Go away”! Our rounds were quickly made without any response. With so many people working the hotel was quickly canvassed. One of the leaders told us to go around to the back side of the East building. There were a couples of rooms down the stairs.

This is where God led us to the Divine Appointments He had prepared for us today. The people at this motel have been ministered to many times by Meanstreet in the past. But tonight three souls gave into His call upon their heart and had their names written in the Lambs Book of Life. The Angles sang for joy as they came home to Jesus.

We then moved on to a large apartment complex not too far away. Elizabeth was added to our group. God had appointments already set up for us to minister to. Seven more lost prayed with us to receive Christ as their Savior.

What a blessing this was to us. Elizabeth has such a calling on her life. As she prayed for one lady we could feel the Spirit of God flow through her as the lady broke down and cried.

The last door we went to was the most rewarding to me. The lady of the house first answered with her little five year old boy. Soon Papa came to see what was going on.

His interest was for furniture for the bedroom. Al works with a company who can help them find some reasonable (if not free) furniture. This opened the door for God to work a mighty miracle in this little family.

My lovely Spanish speaking bride came into her own realm full of God’s Spirit. Her interpretation of this outreach you have already read above.

I stood back and prayed in the Spirit while Ana went head to head with this strong head of the household. God spoke through her mightily, answering every question Papa threw at her.

p1040147.jpg

The outcome was that the entire family prayed the sinner’s prayer and joined the realm of God and had their names written in the Lambs Book of Life.

Ana have been to Mexico five times in the past year ministering to people. We see this as our calling from God. But we both found last night more enjoyable Spiritually than any of the trips.

We have seen the vast ministry available right here in our own backyard. Ana said “and we get to go home to our own home and puppy when we are done”.

I am a missionary in training under the mentoring of Ana. More of these outreach sessions will hone my witnessing abilities: Better preparing us for future trips to Mexico as our ministry blossoms.

As the weather warms we plan on many Saturday trips to downtown Denver to the 16th Street Mall, East Colfax Avenue, and the City/County Park area.

Mar 16:15  And He said to them, Go into all the world, proclaim the gospel to all the creation.  He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned.

This includes East Colfax Avenue.

Mean Street

We started working with Mean Street ministries last November when we went out with them to East Colfax.

April 13, 2009 we started working with them again in earnest. These messages will detail:

Activity we engaged in
Lives changed By the Blood of Jesus
Visions received
Insight into future ministries

Three kinds of Hope

Three kinds of Hope. Fear, Fantasy, Faith.

Last nights message at Word of Life was on three kinds of Hope. Pastor taught that we are to have faith but it must be coupled with Hope to bring true meaning into out walk with Christ.

FEAR:

The first type of Hope is Fear. This is Hope where we fear the outcome or the consequences. We Have a vision and have faith for God to make that vision come true. But we have fear in our hopes of it coming true. We fear the cost, the commitment, the involvement, our ability, and on and on.

This is fear coming from the enemy to stifle our vision and ensnare us in worldly fear. Our faith may be there but the fear overshadows it making progress impossible.

Pastor said this is like being trapped in a box. Walls are erected on all sides of us and we can not see how to get out. Satan makes our minds think of the impossibility of achieving our vision. We become trapped and bogged down with thoughts of inadequacy or incompetence.

This kind of wrong thinking must be broken by allowing the Spirit of God free reign in our lives. Immersing ourselves in Gods word, praying, and fasting will bring us out of it if we are truly willing to make the change.

FANTASY:

The second type of Hope is Fantasy. This is where we try to make up a vision for ourselves based on something fictitious: Or by trying to accept another person’s vision as our own.

We see someone doing well in a ministry and decide that this is what we want to be doing. So we go about doing the work without being called by God. This leads to failure since we do not have the talents or abilities to accomplish the task with out struggle.

Each Christian has a unique set of talents given to them by God to accomplish the unique vision that He has given to them. Using anything else is not in God’s plan and destined to futility and failure.

Pastor gave examples of several people stepping out to do ministries on their own. He then related how they had failed to succeed and are no longer doing anything for God with their lives.

What a waste this is to Gods kingdom. If we use the talents we have, to fulfill the vision we have been given, God will direct our paths and lead us to victory. The path may not be lined with gold or easy, but it will be God’s path.

Yes we have stepped outside of the box but on our own volition, not by God’s mighty hand.

FAITH:

The third type of Hope is Faith. This is the type of Hope that makes our lives worthwhile for God’s ministry. An intense Hope in the greatness of God and His ability to work in us the vision He has given to us.

Pastor used tithing as an example. When we just give without hope for a return or blessing then we get none. But when we give with expectancy of God opening the storehouse of heaven then we receive richly. We receive ideas, concepts, and insights.

So having faith in a vision given by God coupled with a Hope of Faith gives us the power of God to accomplish it. Our Hope is made complete and our Faith in God is fulfilled through our vision.

Abraham could not physically comprehend or believe that his and Sarah’s old bodies could produce a mighty nation. Yet his Hope of Faith led him to continually see the outcome that life dealt as impossible. His heirs are now like the sand of the sea and the stars in the heavens.

Hope is a might tool provided by God to fill our lives with a reason for continuing when all else seems impossible. A true vision from God should appear to us as being impossible to accomplish. That way we know that when it has come to past that it was God who did it and not ourselves.

Dream Big: Dream the impossible. Let God’s vision overfill your mind with its vastness. Then have the Hope of faith that He will see it through to completion. Anything else is box living, like being trapped in a closet for the rest of your life.

To God be the glory.

Orizaba Pastors Confrence

Dear Friends and Loved Ones,

Thank you for your Prayers! The trip to Orizaba, Mexico went well. As we arrived at the airport we could feel that this trip was going to have a good outcome. We arrived in Mexico City and we felt the excitement of the mission trip. The Lord was sending us on a great commission and that was to tell our brothers in Christ to never give up.

The following day we took a bus into from Mexico City to Orizaba. We were excited yet I could feel fear trying to attach to my spirit. I could felt the prayers of many that were with us giving me encouragement. As we boarded the bus they took a video of those that were traveling. At each stop they counted those that were on the bus and at each stop there were Federal Police present with machine guns. We could feel that God had already stationed His angles to take care of us. As we traveled into the mountains we enjoyed the beauty of another country.

Once we arrived we could feel the spirit of peace Orizaba which is a small village sounded by mountains. The families in this village are close and bonded together. The street were full of people that walk at all hours of the day and night. We never felt the spirit of fear. Every evening people go into the small village where they enjoy walking, sitting, and enjoying the beauty of God creation. The parks were full of families that come out for the night, enjoying each others company. They lack the riches but they have the bonding of love that can be felt.

As we walked and enjoyed the freedom of the beauty of Orizaba we could see the full moon and the clear skies full of stars as God was smiling down on us. The peace only GOD COULD GIVE. So very different for Juarez, Mexico.

The Pastors conference went very well. Many Pastors for the surrounding areas of mountains and citys of Mexico came to be encouraged. Pastor Mike and Pastor Pena, from Mexico City, both gave very encouraging words . We could feel the spirit of discouragement. But as God lead his servants to speak, His love came forth with such an power. The Holy Spirit lead many to the alters. Those that were in needed to hear from the Master were filled with the Spirit..

God used His servants to bring forth the words that was needed so badly. THE WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT came to them to not to give up but to press on and feed the sheep that were in need. Many leaders that were assisting the pastors were also blessed. They were told to encourage their pastors and to stand in agreement with them.

God was also telling us as a team to never give up. The trails of life can be hard and will come and go, but stand faithful and go forth preaching His word. For the time is short. God was also sending us a message to us not to give up and to Move into the byways and the highway and preach the message of Jesus Christ. God at the same time was ministering to all the team leaders.

Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

Rom 10:15 and how shall they preach, except they be sent? even as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that bring glad tidings of good things!

He is coming very soon and His children need to stay in fold and get closer to Him.

This conferences will be one we will never forget. As it began we could see expressions of sadness ,discouragement, and expressions of tiredness. One pastor expressed to me that he was ready to give up. That the sheep were going to kill him at a young age. He had prayed and asked God if he was to continue pasturing. After the conference he thank God. He said that I know now I can continue because of the encouraging words. Bless God for we saw burdens lifted and smiles replacing the sadness.

I want to share another praise with you. When Jim and I arrived at home we felt that there was more that God wanted us to do. We were not to just go to church and get spiritually fat, but to give of what we had received at the pastors conference.

We had done some outreach with Means Ministry previously. Mean Street goes into the East Colfax area and preaches the word and gives out food and clothing. On Monday night we decided to join as they ministered in the apartments along East Colfax.

We first went to a cheap hotel, but we were told it was closed to us since they were filming a movie there at that time. The producers of this sleazy movie were form the Middle East They had to find a hotel that portrayed evil like killing, sex, prostitutes, and filth. We were turned away and could not minister there since that would disturb the production of film.

This brought me such anger to think that they would come from another county just to make our cities look like trash. This revealed to me that the labors are indeed few and the harvest is truly great. The next day this filming made headlines in our newspaper.

As those doors was closed on our ministering at that hotel, the Lord lead the team across the street to another apartment. I want to call Little Mexico. Here the Lord lead us to many open individuals and 15 accepted Christ and gave their hearts to Him.

Complete families came to the foot of the cross. They looked like people with out a country. Many in hiding because the were in the states without legal papers. As the gave their heart to Christ I could see the expression change on their faces. They had not given up on the Hope of Christ. We saw that he had made a way where there had been no way.

We saw tears of a mother when she explained that her son had been picked for a traffic violation. Only later to be detained by immigrations.

Grown men were in hiding because they did not trust anyone. But praise GOD. When we began to mention the name of Jesus the doors to their hearts began to open as they received Christ. They were so hungry to receive a bible, so willing to turn their lives all over to GOD. Where we at first had seen sadness, we then saw smiles on their faces as Jesus came into their hearts.

We lead a group of five children to Christ. They were first attracted to the candy we had to offer them. But soon became attentive to what we had to say about Jesus. Jesus had a great impact on all we ministered to.

God had divine appointments for us across the street on Colfax in an area I will always call “Little Mexico”. This apartment was chosen for us to minister at because God knew there were those that need Him. We were there and willing to be used by Him.

This was a GREAT night of ministering to those God had chose for us. We felt like we had been in Mexico, but at the same time He showed us the great need here at home in the United States. So many Souls that need to hear about Jesus!!

We are requesting your prayers again for the week of July 20th.

We are going to Washington DC to attend the “Christians United for Israel” conference. The summit will bring the most influential leaders and thinkers together to update us on the recent development in Israel. We will be meeting with our Congressmen so that each of us can share our support for Israel.

America, Israel and the whole world are facing a great danger in the Middle East. Iran’s president has threatened to wipe Israel off the map. Each day he gets closer to acquiring the nuclear weapons with which to make good his threat. We have no time to waste.

We will meet at Capitol Hill to listen to speakers like John Hagee, founder and National chairman of Christian United for Israel.

If you are interested in representing Israel and want to go to Washington go to CUFI.

We love you guys and again thanks for your prayers

Love you in Christ,

Anna and Jim Gregg

Juarez – Ana

Dear Friends and Loved ones,

As many of you know we just returned for Juarez Mexico where we went to minister to the Pastors and the leaders there.

Before we left we were asked by Pastor Bagwell to go on a 40 day fast and prayer. After the 40 days we had a week long Prophetic Convocation, which means the gathering of eagles. Speakers from third world countries were invited and God moved in a powerful way.

As you know the economic drought is hitting all over the world. God is showing man that He is in control and not mans government.

A week after the convocation we joined Pastor Mike, missions pastor for Word of Life Christian Center, and traveled to Juarez to meet with the Pastors. As I spoke to the Lord concerning what I had received at the convocation, in the form of anointing, I told the Lord that I didn’t want to store what he had give me. But rather that I wanted to share it with people who were in need of hearing from GOD.

As you know, the Lord called me to Mexico 14 years ago. My first trip was to Monterey, Mexico. There the Lord told me that I was to be a missionary to the Mexican people. During the past 14 years I made over two hundred trips across the border.

In have ministered to the Mexican people, taken in clothes and food, worked in orphanages, held tent revivals, organized and taken in teams, help built churches, built homes for pastors. God sent me to assist the people in Mexico.

On my first trip to Mexico I questioned the Lord as to why he had chosen me to go to such a dry and desolate country. After all these years I now see why. I found in Mexico those that loved the Lord, who needed to hear the news of Jesus Christ, who needed their souls restored, orphans that needed to know they had a Father who loved them.

Many seed of the gospel were sowed; many lost came to know Christ as their Savior. The countless miles of travel into Juarez and the many friends that I met brought a closeness I will never forget.

In April of 2008 God told me that I was to go to Juarez with a team that was lead by Pastor Mike who had traveled with us for 13 years, my fellow missionary and friend. So once again I crossed the border into Juarez. At that time I felt that this would be my last trip into the country that had grown to be my home. I told Pastor Mike that this was my last trip to Mexico and my last time in the mission field.

But to my surprise it was not what God had wanted.

I had often question God why he had called me into Juarez? I remember my first mission trip there. I was a shock to see what lay before me as we crossed the borders of the United Sated into Mexico. I had left my country of green grass, paved roads, beautiful homes, nice cars; to enter a dry country that was all full of trash. I often question God why you have called me into Juarez?

Mission’s teams came with us from all over the United States to plant the seed of Jesus Christ, to build homes, and feed the poor. Then the borders were open to missionaries and through our work many received the gospel. God knew that one day the borders would be closed and missionaries would not be able to enter freely. Through our efforts many were lead to Christ, told about Jesus. The seeds planted about Christ were watered, and many souls were restored.

As the years went by we had seen, as President Fox came into power, that Juarez started to get a new look; new condos were built where once there were shacks of cardboard and pallets. New roads were built and the city was made livable once again.

Doing mission work in Mexico brought me excitement seeing what GOD was doing through those who ministered with us. But on this last trip the story was different. I had never felt the pain in my spirit; I was extremely saddened by what I saw.

This time as we entered Juarez, I saw a sign that stated that there would be a three hour delay crossing the border back into Texas. As many cars and trucks rushed across the bridge to America, I noticed something different. There were solders everywhere. Big black military vehicles, with eight heavily armed men in each one, were driving in groups of three or four up and down the streets. There were reports the Drug Lords were trying to overturn the government. All of the Mexican/American borders towns were being hit hard this conflict.

My spirit was saddened even more so when we went to hotel where we had stayed with teams over the years. There were very few patrons at the hotel except for forty or fifty Federal Police officers billeting there. They were armed and ready to kill. In all 7,200 troupes had been summoned to protect Juarez. They were dressed in full armor ready to shoot at the command of their officers. As I talked to several of them I could see the look on their faces revealed that they meant business.

We felt safe there because we were surrounded by troupes, yet sadden at the same time because the church members were in hiding because of fear. We heard that about 2,000 people had been killed in the days before we arrived.

We were actually in the middle of a war between the military and the drug lords. My heart has never felt so sadden before, but now was torn apart by what was happening. The street in front of the hotel was all ways busy like 1-25 in Denver. Now there were trucks filled with military driving in packs. Only a few cars were seen.

Our hotel was guarded with federal police who had stressed faces. They looked at us, I could feel the question why are you here? I talked to one of the officers and asked how long this was going to last. He said that they would be there for a year or years. We felt like God had stationed angles to watching over us.

The following morning we decided to go the Mercado which had always been one of the highlights of a mission trip to Juarez. When we arrived we found the market mostly empty. We actually parked in the first spot right outside the front entrance. Many of the venders had closed their stores. The ones remaining were hurting because there were no tourists to buy their wares.

Many of the venders expressed their sadness over the state of the economy. We encouraged as we could and asked if we could pray for their businesses. Many were glad to have us pray for them. Several gave their hearts to Christ.

As we walked through the market we felt like death had come to this place. Most of the stores had closed yet a few stood in faith that they were going to make it. Walking through the marked we could hear the echo of our voices. Once it rang with the laughter of many happy shoppers.

I remembered a man by the name of Armando who had four stores in the balcony area. At one time had sold blankets to our teams for the orphanages. He had taken in one of our team who had been left at the market by mistake. Through our meeting him and telling him about Christ he gave his heart to Christ. This time as we walked up to his store, we asked him what had happened. With a sad look on his face he told us that business was bad and that he was just trying to make some money to take care of his wife.

We always ate lunch outside of the marked in the busy restaurant area. This time it was empty except for another family across from us.

Surprisingly our waiter seemed very uneasy as he went about waiting on us. He kept on telling us that he could seat us inside of the building where we could be safe. The word safe keep coming out of his mouth, “I can seat you inside where it is SAFE.”

Afterward we discussed what had happened. We noticed, as we were being seated a young man eating by himself. He had the appearance of being rich with an air of arrogance about him. Both Lisa and I felt that he was a drug lord and that the waiter wanted us to move because of a possible assassination being set up. We now believe that God’s presence with us had protected this gentleman from harm.

That evening we went to see Lilly who was one of our translators. We asked her what was going on. She told us about the drug lord and the killings in Juarez. She mentioned that members of the church were scared and many of them were staying in hiding fearful of being killed.

Lilly mentioned that many of the people worked for the U.S. factories that had moved into Mexico. These companies were cutting their pay in half, to $50 per week. If they were late to work their days wages would be again cut into half. If they quite their jobs they would lose all of the retirement and benefits accrued.

That night as we meet with the pastor and other leaders of the church, I could feel a spirit of depression over them. The Lord was showing me that this time we were not there to pray for those that need Jesus; but to encourage those that were ready to give up their ministry. The movement of the Holy Spirit was strong as we prayed and lay on hands; many were slain in the Spirit.

The Holy Spirit was telling me to tell them not to give up; to keep on with Jesus because he was coming soon. Sunday morning there was a movement of the Holy Spirit of God like I had never felt or seen before.

God was showing me that for 14 years many seeds were sown; now we were there to give encouragement to the leadership of the church. God was giving them a message that now was not the time to give up; it is the time to move higher and higher with him.

That night, as I was praying about what the Lord had shown me, I kept on hearing the word Taliban. The Taliban is hiding behind the drug lords. They are in Mexico and at all the borders ready to move across into America. Tell my people to keep on praying for the Taliban are ready to overthrow the Mexican government and they will try to overthrow the United States government as well.

We had heard that the United States was thinking about closing the borders because of the danger taking place. This would cease further mission’s trips to help minister to those in Juarez.

God also showed me that through all of these years of work that there remain a remnant who had given their hearts to Christ and were seeking God for answers.

The borders of Mexico are now becoming closed to missionary groups because of fear. “Houses of Christ”, who previously built 110 houses a month, are no longer taking groups in because they fear their team member will be killed.

Because of what is happening, Lilly said that many of the strong Christians believe that revival is going hit Mexico, starting in Juarez.

Please keep our Mexican brothers and sisters in Christ in your prayers.

Juarez – Jim

 Juarez as seen by Jim

A year ago I came to Juarez for the first time. When we arrived the traffic was horrendous. I marveled at how well Pastor Mike worked his way to the hotel.

When we pulled in, the parking lot was full but for a few empty spots. When we walked to the restaurant the sidewalks were full of people and traffic was heavy.

We went to the Mercado late Sunday and had only 15 minutes to shop before they closed. So there were not too many people in the shops. We had to park three blocks away. We ate outside the Mercado where the tables were almost all filled up with diners. The waiter squeezed us into an empty spot.

What a change has taken place. This trip to Juarez saw a totally different atmosphere. The streets are empty, well not quite, but Saturday evening there were only a few cars on a street that use to be busy like Colfax on the same evening.

When we went to the Mercado we parked in the very first spot right outside the front entrance. When we went inside we were almost the only ones doing any shopping.

When we ate in the outside restaurant there were only a couple other parties present. We got superb waiter service.

The failing economy of America has had a disastrous impact on this Mexican border town. This affect has been made pale in comparison to the recent Drug Lord massacres taking place in the past few months. There have been a 1,000 drug traffickers murdered as well as a number of innocent bystanders. Tourism has latterly ceased as people stay away in fear of being killed.

While in the Mercado we saw no other Anglo’s present. Neither did we see many in all of our time in Juarez.

The drug problem has been going on for years as the local authorities have turned a deaf ear to the happenings. Many officials have worked in concert with the trafficking of illegal drugs and have been unwilling to contend with it.

The recent outbreak of killings has prompted the Federal Government to impose Martial Law and send in 7,200 troupes to enforce the law and provide protection to the public; a Police Action in taking place in many of the border towns.

We passed dozens of black military police trucks each one holding eight heavily armed officers. Two in the front seats, two in the back seats, two standing facing sideways with guns in hand, and two sitting facing back also with guns. The were all in black, helmets, flack vests, gloves, heavy boots, and semi-automatic weapons. This was quite impressive.

When we returned to the hotel after church we saw 40 to 50 of these men standing in formation in the parking lot. They were being billeted there. God provided many angles to protect us on our trip.

Ana talked with two of these soldiers who were standing guard at the hotel. The said that they would be there for the next six months or year, until the situation has been brought totally into control.

Lilly mentioned that having these troops in Juarez was a violation of civil law. So a state of national emergency exists causing this imposing of martial law.

She said that there were no killing either Saturday or Sunday, possibly because of our presence there? God honors the efforts and prayers of His remnant.

Life goes on as people carry on life as normal. But they are mostly staying home, not wanting to venture out. So do go over to Texas to shop where it is safe.

The economy is poor in Mexico as it is in America. Many of the church people work for the US factories that have relocated to Mexico for cheaper wages. Companies like Ford. The workers had their wages cut in half and they are now receiving $50 a week. If they show up late for work they get a 50% reduction in pay. If they show up early all the time they get a $14 bonus.

Lilly works in El Paso as a waitress receiving $100 a week.

My God! I make almost 30 times as much as these workers.

Lilly said that the church had been asleep throughout all of these happening in the past few years. Evil crept in and took control as they turned a deaf ear on it all. They did not take a stand. But this is changing as they are finally awakening to the evil in their land. That is why they see a revival coming on the winds of God.

It is interesting that Pastor Enrique was in prison for drugs and now God is using him to spearhead a movement from Juarez to Orizaba.

His theme and email address are:

Psalm 127:1 Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.

Ana was very depressed when she heard and saw all of this. She told Pastor Mike that she wanted to go home. She had seen Juarez grow from its very worst to the very best. Now she saw it at an even worst status.

She had three hours struggling with a word and vision from God Saturday night. She shared it with me and I recorded it; but subsequently deleted it by mistake? Possible it was for her and no one else.

Lilly said that the remnant in Juarez are all believing and praying for a revival starting in Juarez and blossoming outward into all of Mexico. This is happening because of all the unrest there now.

As bad as it is in America, we pale in comparison to the life in this dusty birder town just south of Texas. Yet we found the church members upbeat and cheerful. They continue to meet together and have started many home bible studies.

They, as us, are praying that the drought would be broken. They are seeking revival in their country just as we are in America.

Jeremiah 14

Jer 14:1 The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah concerning the drought:
Jer 14:2 “Judah mourns, and her gates languish; her people lament on the ground, and the cry of Jerusalem goes up.
Jer 14:3 Her nobles send their servants for water; they come to the cisterns; they find no water; they return with their vessels empty; they are ashamed and confounded and cover their heads.
Jer 14:4 Because of the ground that is dismayed, since there is no rain on the land, the farmers are ashamed; they cover their heads.
Jer 14:5 Even the doe in the field forsakes her newborn fawn because there is no grass.
Jer 14:6 The wild donkeys stand on the bare heights; they pant for air like jackals; their eyes fail because there is no vegetation.
Jer 14:7 “Though our iniquities testify against us, act, O LORD, for your name’s sake; for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against you.
Jer 14:8 O you hope of Israel, its savior in time of trouble, why should you be like a stranger in the land, like a traveler who turns aside to tarry for a night?
Jer 14:9 Why should you be like a man confused, like a mighty warrior who cannot save? Yet you, O LORD, are in the midst of us, and we are called by your name; do not leave us.”
Jer 14:10 Thus says the LORD concerning this people: “They have loved to wander thus; they have not restrained their feet; therefore the LORD does not accept them; now he will remember their iniquity and punish their sins.”
Jer 14:11 The LORD said to me: “Do not pray for the welfare of this people.
Jer 14:12 Though they fast, I will not hear their cry, and though they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I will not accept them. But I will consume them by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence.”
Jer 14:13 Then I said: “Ah, Lord GOD, behold, the prophets say to them, ‘You shall not see the sword, nor shall you have famine, but I will give you assured peace in this place.'”
Jer 14:14 And the LORD said to me: “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds.
Jer 14:15 Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name although I did not send them, and who say, ‘Sword and famine shall not come upon this land’: By sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed.
Jer 14:16 And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem, victims of famine and sword, with none to bury them–them, their wives, their sons, and their daughters. For I will pour out their evil upon them.
Jer 14:17 “You shall say to them this word: ‘Let my eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease, for the virgin daughter of my people is shattered with a great wound, with a very grievous blow.
Jer 14:18 If I go out into the field, behold, those pierced by the sword! And if I enter the city, behold, the diseases of famine! For both prophet and priest ply their trade through the land and have no knowledge.'”
Jer 14:19 Have you utterly rejected Judah? Does your soul loathe Zion? Why have you struck us down so that there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but no good came; for a time of healing, but behold, terror.
Jer 14:20 We acknowledge our wickedness, O LORD, and the iniquity of our fathers, for we have sinned against you.
Jer 14:21 Do not spurn us, for your name’s sake; do not dishonor your glorious throne; remember and do not break your covenant with us.
Jer 14:22 Are there any among the false gods of the nations that can bring rain? Or can the heavens give showers? Are you not he, O LORD our God? We set our hope on you, for you do all these things.

40 Days

01/14/2009
40 Days.

On 01/11/2009 we started a period of 40 days of fasting, praying, talking, studying, meditating, in general just plain more intense communication with God wit the emphasis on drawing closer to Him and not pouncing upon Him a myriad of prayer requests and problems. At that same time we signed up to pray for an hour each day between 6 and 7 PM.

Before we entered into this I had some anticipation just what it would entail and what it would all mean in my life. Just shortly before this time Ana and I had been going through some growing pains as she discerned some things hanging around my present being that were a carry over from the past. Things that influenced my past and were not fitting for the new me that will need purifying to be a fitting vessel for what God wants to do with our lives together.

Sunday night Pastor prayed for us all as a group and some of us individually. During that time we identified those strong holds that Satan had on our lives that was pulling us down in our growth upward. These things keep us from reaching the new heights in spirituality that God has in store for us. Pastor Gala saw this as a hand grasping on our heels pulling backward as we tried to fly upwards.

I identified the Spirit of infirmity which has kept me in bondage never letting me reach my full potential, along with fear, lust, anger, alcoholism and others. I was set free when Pastor prayed for me and for the group. I accepted that freedom and now am living my life with that resolve at the front of my mind.

I fell asleep soundly that night and did not awaken until 4:30 the next morning. What a feeling of peace. But I am still being bombarded with health things as I can feel Satan trying to get his grasp reinserted in my life. This I reject and cast out of me daily, constantly. The power of God within me is far greater than the power of the evil one who rules this world.

I will overcome. I am overcoming. I have overcome. The full effect may take a while but I have freedom of all these things in my life.

It is strange that the next day, when thinking about the myriad of health problems pounding my past life, I realized that the first bad thing I can remember happening to me was when I was I Florida just about to be sent home because of the “Tongues Thing”. A day before leaving I broke out in hives that itched a lot. They went away and fullness began in my throat. This turned out to be Reflux which tormented me for 30 years and has still been an issue.

There was one issue after another that came relentlessly ever since. Three times I should have died but God stayed my being. A ruptured Cerebral Aneurism, a botched Reflux Surgery, and most recently a Seizure while traveling to Kansas. Out of each of these I came unscathed.

I feel that the power of God to keep me alive for the work that is before me was stronger than the spirit of Satan as he tried to take me out. He had kept me unproductive for nearly 40 years.

So this time of intense drawing nearer to God has come at a very crucial time for me. It is just before heading out to Orizaba for the second time to help out with the pastor’s conference there in May-April. This is also a time when we have been making preparations to go full time for a year in Mexico.

This preparation will leave me purged of past wrongs and habits, filled with the newness of God. Cleansed and swept out ready to receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit into my vessel.

This is a time of preparation for the future events about to take place in Ana and my lives. Together we are heading into the battle field of the 3rd world countries as a tightly woven three stranded cord. Honed and prepared for intense hand to hand combat with Satan and his evil cohorts.

I am truly enjoying this new endeavor of drawing closer to the King of Kings. I had already begun to get up at 4:30 so I could study and read on a consistent basis. I also listen to sermons and teachings on the way to and from work, sometimes praying the whole way. I have begun to write for about an hour a day to hone my new skills there. I have begun to study the “Spiritual harvest” materials at noon time along with some praying and meditating. We pray together for an hour between 6 and 7. We pray before meals, when we get up, when we go to bed, over our poster, for our kids and at other times as needed.

It is an incredible feeling to be so close to the Father is my daily life. I am never far away from thoughts of Him or of our missionary calling. Thoughts of what is in store for us and what will take place and all.

I can only imagine what will take place in the church as 100 remnant core people do the same. What outpouring of the Spirit will overtake the church? What blessings will descend from upon high? What might things will take place as a newness envelops the whole church. People will be drawn to the intense light shinning from the abundance of water flowing outward. The drought will be broken and seeds will flourish in vast fields of harvest and bread.

I am glad that me and my wife are a part of the ever growing greatness of Word of Life. Our involvement grows and strengthens each day. For the Glory of God and the winning of souls.

America’s Goddess

America’s Golden Goddess Jim Gregg
Daniel 5 03/05/2009

This morning, as I sat down to read and write, God took me to the book of Daniel chapter 5.

There I found all sorts of strange things. King Belshazzar was partying with his royal court, their wives, and his concubines. He decided to bring in golden goblets taken from the tabernacle in Jerusalem. They drank heartily then toasted the gods of gold, silver, bronze, iron, stone, and wood. Wow! What a cast of notable characters to pay homage to.

Suddenly fingers, coming out of nowhere, started writing on the plastered walls of the palace. Strange characters appeared that could not be interpreted. One would think that this would be odd and frighten away all those who were present. But it merely caused the kings countenance to change and his knees and legs get weak.

He immediately called in all of his counselors, magicians, and soothsayers to have them diverge the meaning of the words. They were unable to accomplish this demand. So King Balshazzar called in all of his mighty men, who also failed the task.

The Queen then told the King about Daniel who she heard could interpret such things. So King Balshazzar brought in Daniel and he was able to bring meaning to the writings.

The writings spelt doom to the kingdom. In fact that very night they rang true as the king was slain and a Mead took his throne.

Dan 5:25 And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

I see this as a prophecy speaking to America. It is a statement of our very status as a country founded on the word of God but now given over to the Goddess of Gold.

Our country was founded on religious freedom and our forefathers actually believed the Bible and wrote documents as such. “In God We Trust” is graven on our currency and buildings. But it is no longer God whom we trust. No, it is the Golden Goddess of the mighty dollar.

America has always been the country of prosperity. We produce more and use more than any other nation in the world. We have become consumer’s par excellence.

Having come out of the Great Depression, our fathers were very frugal and did not waste or want more and more. After WWII things began to change as people became more mobile and sought out more pleasures to sooth their souls.

Things began to happen that swayed our beliefs from the God of the Bible, to what is in it for me. We sought bigger houses, more cars, better jobs, longer vacations, anything to please the body. Yet in spite of this era of prosperity evil crept in steadily as we were lured unaware.

Prayer went out of our schools. Babies became the target of the scalpel to let us be in charge of our bodies. Morality was pushed aside as sensationalism took charge to excite us to oblivion.

Luxury became or goal. We strove for two cars in every garage, and a Van (now SUV) in the driveway. We ate, drank, and smoked, like there was no end. Carl Sagan lured us with millions and billions of universes; millions and billions of years. We drank in the opiate of evolution. “Who are we but mere specks of protoplasm thrown together on the whirling globe called Earth?”

I want, I want, more, and more. I got and I got till there seemed to be no end or lack. This is what Osama Bin Laden hated about America; our absolute control of money and our worshiping it as gods. So he attacked our great symbols of wealth, the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

This should have woken us up to what was happening to America. But it did not. Yes, it did enrage us and throw into a war for 7 years, but our hearts still were in love with wealth and not the things of God.

Sadly, through all of this the Christians, of our once great and spiritually oriented country, sat lazily aside like Saul picking pomegranates from his shade tree. Where once we had great tent revivals and healings being performed, we now have Jerry Springer and Ophra chanting out our mantra.

We were called the silent moral majority by the news media. We became lazy, being lured into a sleepy daze unaware of what was taking place in our country by a small choice few. These soldiers of Satan have taken their toll. They have won great victories that have put most of us to shame. Yet we feel our hands are tied with no recourse but to let the law’s stand.

So our precious America buckled up and persisted through another unwanted war. “Ho Hum!” “What are we fighting for?” President Bush called it “EVIL”. The press called it a waste and uncalled for.

Presidents, CEO’s and CIO’s of major companies began to “cook the books” and wound up bilking billions of dollars out of the weary work force’s pockets; mainly from their retirement accounts.

Since gold had become the present goddess, Americans strove to get all that they could. It became easy to build up a fund worth millions of dollars. This hoard was just laying in wait for those few magic years, near the end of life, when one could sit back and bask in the limelight of such great achievements.

Get-rich programs, commodities, stocks, investments, shorting stocks, speculations, real estate schemes, ponzi schemes abounded. Men strove day and night to get his share of the wealth. Men began to worship wealth. We bowed down to the lottery mentality, wishing and hoping for our one big chance to become wealthy beyond imagination.

This madness began to be exposed as the “Enron’s” of the world crumbled down in disgrace. It seemed as if there was an epidemic of corrupt executives who had figured out how to line their own pockets with the working class’s retirement funds.

Yet this did not wake up the sleeping Christian nation. We just went to church and knew that God had provided salvation to us freely and we did not have to worry any more. “Why evil is in the world and will eventually take over.” “I can just sit on the sidelines and watch it all happen.” “Not to worry!” “I am saved for eternity.”

So, Satan, seeing the depraved hearts of most Americans, cooked up another disaster. One built to order for our money worshiping lenders. Why not make loans to people without qualification or adequate income to sustain the payments. Surely the economy will continue to flourish and increase. They will be able to stretch their wages to make this home their own.

Billions of dollars were lent out to unworthy and unqualified buyers. Banks jumped on the band wagon with lustful dollar signs in their eyes. The biggest job market open at that time was one of being a mortgage lender. Everyone was refinancing or stepping into bigger more luxurious homes. Even people with little money were enticed to buy homes with 0% down. Why not? Everyone else was doing it. I want mine, and I want it now.

Massive amount of money went into the pockets of a select few greedy lenders. Money was everywhere. Since Americans worship this golden goddess, life was full and enjoyable and there seemed to be no end to it all.

Bam! Now we are in the midst of the worst economic disaster in history. The American tax payer now own most of the financial institutions. Trillions of dollars have left our economy. We are at the verge of a complete monetary collapse. Surprise, surprise, Satan is alive and well on planet Earth.

Pastor Bagwell, of Word of Life Christian center, received a word/prophecy from God shortly after this bubble burst. He was told that “the drought is broken and that he heard the sound of an abundance of rain”. This has been Pastor Bagwell’s driving thought and prayer ever since that revelation. Even though the stock market fell 734 points the day after he told this to his congregation, he has stood strong in the belief of God’s word to him.

The remnant of believers at Word of Life have come together in prayer, fasting, and re-concentration. We are holding fast to the prophetic words received by Pastor Bagwell. We are standing in the gap for the rest of America. We know that God will revive America and put her back on the course which our forefathers first set us on.

Christians all over the country are waking up and getting back into true worship of God our Father and His Son Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is once again being allowed to reign freely in our services and our lives.

There is hope for America only if we get back to the basics taught in the Bible, only if we give up the goddess of god for the Living God of the Universe.

Prophetic Convocation – 2009

What a week this was, The Prophetic Convocation, A Gathering of Eagles. This week was more than that; it was a week long time for Spiritual blessings, growth, anointing, prophecy, and much more.

This was a week of intense closeness with God through the Holy Spirit. It has been a time for deep personal Spiritual enlightenment.

I found it immensely rewarding as I bared my soul to God and through the workings of His Holy Spirit found cleansing, anointing, renewal, and strength.

Sometimes I found it disappointing because there was not much about me, me, me. But this week was not about me. It was about the Church at 8700 East Park Meadows Drive and the Prophet of God who leads the church situated there.

What anointing’s have been laid upon Pastor Bagwell, NO, Prophet Bagwell. Just a short year ago several mighty men of God came to Word of Life to speak. Each one of them prophesized mighty things coming into being for Pastor Bagwell and Word of Life.

At that time it was my desire to be a part of this happening, whatever it would prove to be. I felt that something special and entirely holy was to come from this new church, now mine, through the might man of God who was the leader and Pastor.

Now it is a year later and I find that I am connected to Word of Life in a very real way through the heavy anointing of my beautiful wife Ana, and her connection to Pastor Mike and 3rd world missions.

So when the prophets from other lands gave new revelations into Word of Life and the blessings of Pastor Bagwell, I was not surprised. My heart soared as I heard the unfurling, clarification, and continuation of the previous prophecies. WOW!

Again my heart soared as I thanked God that I am a part of this marvelous happening. I could see how Pastor Mike, Lisa, Ana and I would be used as integral parts of this new Holy Ghost explosion. We would be taking Gods word and blessings to others throughout the world. Not just there but to the inner city of Denver as “The Church in the City” expands into a new venue.

News casters, media experts, TV personalities will flock to Word of Life to capture the New Movement of the Holy Spirit being proclaimed by Prophet Bagwell and his wife Gala. The church will be busting at the seams with curious people seeking out what is really happening there. “What is all this buzz about” they will be asking. Cars will pull into the parking lot unbeknown to why. The drivers will just feel led to see what is happening.

They will see a might Prophet finally claim his rights and come out of seemingly nothingness into the marvelous presence of world wide television coverage. Pastor Bagwell’s 30 years of dedicated, unwavering, and faithful service to the Lord has brought him to this place of high honor in the realm of God. He has been anointed and accepted as a high Prophet for the world in 2009 and beyond.

Buried deep within the church, there is a remnant of faithful hungry believers, who have found their faith fanned into a burning inferno by the Prophets teachings. They find that they are no longer content with just warming the pews, but are now destined to proclaim their own prophetic words into their workplace and ministries.

The blessings of the Prophet flow outward in a steady overflowing cascade of anointing upon these dedicated few. Those who have stood beside the great Pastor as he forged a new movement brought upon him by the Holy Spirit. They are the ones who carry outward the blessings as they flow down from above.

A might work is at foot, stomping through strongholds previously impenetrable. Place where Satan dwelt in peace and luxury. No more will this be the case. Satan has been put on warning by this Prophet of God. “Get out of the way of my Holy People” he says. “Get behind and be tromped underfoot.”

We, the few who have been faithful, go forth with a renewed strength into the unknown. No fear is with us as we go only the assurance and blessings flowing from our mighty Prophet. What power we have received; what a privilege it is to serve the Living God in such a Holy movement of His Spirit.

I know it is my desire, along with my bride forever, to cast our lot with this Prophet as he proclaims Gods warnings to the lost on Earth in these few remaining days of planet Earth. The time is short for our King’s return, mighty Jesus. We need to be about His work right now and forevermore.

For too long have we scurried about in our own feeble ways; doing some good, always our desire. But now the Holy Fire has been ignited and the new Prophet fully ordained into his position. Rally behind him all you who love the Lord and are called to His purpose.

Onward we march into this battle to be won, for God is with us through out all eternity. With Him before us sustaining our effort, victory is His. We are only called to take action and rely upon His doing the work.

This has been a week of holiness, a week of coming together as eagles, a gathering of our spirits into united oneness to be taken to a higher level with God as our Standard and Pastor Bagwell as our Prophet.

Convocation – 1

Prophetic Convocation.
February 22, 2009 – 10:30 AM.
A combined service which is becoming packed already at 10:15.
This is the end of a 40 day period of rededication, prayer, and fasting for the entire church. There is a pile of bread on the platform. A holy gathering like the gathering of the wheat. There is a beautiful 4 foot bouquet in front of the podium.

Eastwood Anaba is the speaker. Next Sunday will be another combined service at 10:30. Each evening this week will be a 6:30 service. “Gathering, Collection, Assembly”.

Pastor invited those whom he felt led to invite. Those who would have a special word for the church. Thursday will be a re-concentration service with special anointing. Friday will be oil and prayer cloths. Monday will be a impartation to the deacons in the church. The Holy Spirit is going to orchestrate the order and content of the services.

The man who has cancer and who sits in the front row is now 100% free of cancer.

Last October Anaba felt that he was going to be coming to Denver in February for some reason. So when Pastor called him he immediately accepted, especially when he heard about the 40 day period of fasting and prayer. He said that he did not want to miss out on the blessings himself.

Anaba said that even if we slept through the services all week that we would be blessed. He said that people need to go to a church where they can hear “Thus sayeth The Lord” not just preaching a sermon or a seminar. WOLCC is such a church.

2Ki 4:42 And there came a man from Baalshalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the husk thereof. And he said, Give unto the people, that they may eat.
2Ki 4:43 And his servitor said, What, should I set this before an hundred men? He said again, Give the people, that they may eat: for thus saith the LORD, They shall eat, and shall leave thereof.
2Ki 4:44 So he set it before them, and they did eat, and left thereof, according to the word of the LORD.

The bread from Baalshalisha was 20 loaves like the 20 loaves Anaba brought for the church. It is a symbol of anything that we bring to the church (WOLCC) during 2009 will be multiplied. Our tithes, offerings, ourselves, other people, our ministry (missions) etc.

2 Kings 18:17 – on.
Rabshakeh Spirit.
Let’s learn from the enemies camp. Discover truth. King Assyria (God) sent 3 men to spy out a city. 2009 the 9 is a special finality and judgment in the demonic world.

The people who will speak for God in the last days will be those who are the closest to the Holy Spirit, not educated or ones with the most talents. This is a time for Mary and not Martha. Rabsjakeh was the cupbearer to the King. So he had his ear and was close to everything the King said and did. We need to be close to the Holy Spirit in a similar manner.

This is like the butler who told Pharaoh about Joseph. Those whom we speak to about God will be freed from the prison they find their selves trapped in the carnal world.

The man who rebuilt Jerusalem was also a cupbearer to the King. Hezekiah.

Don’t seek out more education or more things or more. Run to get more of God. Get closer to God.

V19. He spoke in the name of the King. Don’t speak my own words. Speak what God says.

V21. We will not fear the power of Egypt (Satan).

No power except from God matters.

Isa 31:3 Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.

Put faith in God not man (Egypt). 2 Kings 18:22,
Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him

True worshipers in the Spirit are the power.

V23. Trust God so much that we are not afraid of anything from the devil. There will be more mountains moved in 2009 that at any other time.

V15. He had a mandate spoken from God to do a work.
V26. He spoke in Hebrew – so all could hear plainly. We will speak before kings. Not words of our own but what God gives us. Women will speak boldly without fear. Speak in tongues loudly and freely. All will be able to hear and know that you are praying to God.

Anticipate that something great is going to happen to us this week. A manifestation of glory coming out of us greater than anything ever.

Be married to principles of God not the methods of delivery. Listen for the still small voice that will block out all other sound fully occupying all of my being.

Sunday evening – 6:30.
The 20 loaves of bread are now on the table in front of the podium. They have invited 30 African American pastors to attend and have reserved the first 5 rows for them. Many are first time visitors.

Today is a launching day. Free form Holy Ghost Service. Friday night will be oil and prayer cloths. Elevate my Faith to expect more from God this week.
