Prophetic Leadership – 2009

During the last session of The Prophetic Convocation 2009 – Pastor Marco very vividly spoke on 1 Samuel 14, telling the Prophetic word God had presented to him for Word of Life and Pastor Bagwell.

The Israelites were encamped surrounded by the Philistines. They had invaded the good land of the Israelites and had taken the high ground. The Philistines seemingly entering in by stealth and captured what was once land claimed by God for his people, the apples of His eye.

Jonathan said “let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised” echoing the very words that David would say to Goliath not too many years later. How could these heathens take over our precious land; Land given to us by God through our forefathers?

Meanwhile King Saul and the rest of the army sat around in quit comfort, seemingly content with the state of life. Saul, while resting under a Pomegranate tree, reached up to pick off some fruit and lazily ate to his fill.

The rest of the troops would get up each morning and rub the sleep out of their eyes, lazily noticing that “Yes” the Philistines were still there. “Oh! Bother.” “What are we to do?” “Never mind, look, the King is eating his morning fruit.” “Not to worry.” “Things are as normal.”

Then Jonathan’s armor bearer said “Do all that is in thine heart.” The armor bearer then faithfully followed Jonathan on his hands and knees up the hill to overtake the enemy.

This was not much of a battle. Out of the thousands of Philistines present, the duo killed only 20 foes. The Mighty and Glorious God of Abraham annihilated the rest with mighty miracles. The battle was truly the Lords.

Earthquakes and the impending confusion caused the overpowered army to kill off each other in a mighty display of God’s might.

There are many instances such as this scattered throughout the Bible, where a select few have come to task with the enemy and were given complete victory over the fight. God’s might hand played the majority of the role, yet the few brave dedicated soldiers had to take a stand against the present evil. It was only then that God played out the complete victory.

This story echoes what has been happening in America over the past 40 years or so. Quietly and stealthily the enemy has encroached into our once proud land. Our founding forefathers were dedicated to the Gospel and wrote our Declaration of Independence based upon God’s word.

The Philistines of our age have quietly taken over, or taken away our precious freedom. Without a shot from Christendom, prayer was ripped out of our schools. Now courts, boardrooms, public gatherings, and yes, from even some churches.

Never mind the high courts permission to kill babies by the millions. Yes, we can legally murder our little ones without a word from those of us taking a stand when the movement could have been squelched.

The enemy has indeed taken the high ground. He has indeed taken choice, precious; blood fought and won land from our very hands.

We Christians were asleep, waking gently to the morning mist and seeing nothing too concerning happening. Why, this new movement had the blessing of the courts. “What can we do?” “It is out of our hands.” “It is only a little bit uncomfortable.” “We can put up with some un-comfort.”

We are all saved by grace and going to heaven. We know the enemy will eventually win over and lead to the battle of Armageddon. So, Not to worry. Just let the enemy have its share of our territory. We don’t need to make any waves and be noticed or called radical freaks. “I’m saved.” “Let the dead burry their dead.” “Don’t bother me.” “I have enough problems of my own.”

This seemed to be the rout of least effort for most. But, then the economic collapse was revealed which we now find ourselves in. It seems that God is letting Satan pull off all stops to se what mettle we are made of. Will God’s chosen people take a stand now? Will we be strong and rise up?

Many strong prophetic utterances were spoken over Pastor Bagwell for his anointing as a Great and Powerful Profit of this present age. There were many visions spoken of an explosion of ministry and power that will emanate from Word of Life in the next few months. God is ready to do a might work; Prophet Bagwell will be the catalyst causing the movement.

The strong prophetic anointing over Pastor Bagwell was confirmed, setting him off as the leader of a new movement of the Mighty Power of the Holy Spirit. The call has gone out for the remnant to pull together and gather behind our “Jonathan”.

We, the remnant who have been faithful over the past year, have been called to be Prophet Bagwell’s armor bearers. We are to carry his load of weaponry up the steep slope to do battle with the enemy. We have been called to watch his back and fight by his side.

Together we will lay waste to many enemy; never forgetting that it is God who will give the total and complete victory.

It is for a time such as this that I was created. It is time to take a stand for righteousness that has been stripped from our nation. It is time to stand behind the new Prophet of our age.

Mighty things are about to happen through Word of Life in Lone Tree, Colorado. Stand back and wonder what has happened or become a part of the action and know. One stance will leave you dumfounded, the other awe struck. Which path do you choose?

1Sa 14:23 So the LORD saved Israel that day:

He will also save America if we act accordingly.

2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
