What happened last night? Did America loose? Are we going to become a socialistic country? These and many thoughts ran through my head the moment Fox News gave Ohio to Obama pushing him over the 270 electoral votes needed to remain President of The United States of America.
At work today Dick said that he was going to teach on Colossians 2:8 this Sunday. Read it.
Colossians 2:8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
Do you realize how close we came to doing exactly that! We were so committed to ousting Obama that we bent our scruples and put our hopes behind a very high member of a cult (Mormonism) to become our President.
Never mind the fact that Obama still has not convinced us that he is a citizen of the United States. Nor the fact that he is a professing Muslim, and a Socialist. Nor that he said we are not a Judeo-Christian nation, or his refusal to accept Israel or her Prime Minister.
We were so focused on firing Obama that we blinded our eyes to Romney’s false beliefs. Yes he was for Israel, family, sanctity of marriage, balanced economy, jobs, and etc. BUT! If he would have won we would have all taken a deep breath of relief and sat back on our laurels.
Romney’s win would have been the end to our struggle. Now it would all be in Mitt’s hands to do his managerial control of our countries woes. Ahh! What a relief. Not to worry. Things are going to be all right. I think I will just curl up and go to sleep.
We Christians would have all fallen asleep one more time. We are good at this, we do it so often. One day we wake up as see that prayer has been banned from our schools. We wonder “how did that happen?” We again wake up and find that abortions are available to any and all who want them. We again wonder “what happened?” 9-11 comes and goes and we stare in awe and say “what happened?”
Not this time my friend. We cannot fall into blissful slumber and let the country grind on its merry way. We are still at war. The enemy has regained a strategic foothold and is bunkering in for a fierce fight. A fight that apparently only the awakened, enlightened, spirit filled Christians can see. Over half of the country thinks that things are going Great or they would not have elected Obama to the second term.

We almost accepted that which seemed right at the time but was not according to Christ. Even Glenn Beck said that yesterday he knew he was right but now he sees that he was totally wrong. We cannot win by substituting a man for what God can only do.
The fight that we are about to wage war with is evil in its purest form. We battle against powers and forces in the spirit realm. Our country has succumbed to the whiles of Satan bit by bit as he belittles our moral structure and gets his fingers entwined around our throats ready to choke the life from us.
Did you notice how easy it was for Obama’s charismatic character to entrance most Americans into his web? They did not even notice. The News Media fell full sway into his enchantment, embellishing every word and action he made as coming from, quite possibly god.
Yet when faced with the starkness of reality they chose to ignore it, wanting rather to hold on to the enticing words of Hope and Change. Not to worry about the $4, $5, $6 Trillion in debt. That is such a massive number it will surely just go away. Obama will wave some more magic dust our way and Poof it will vanish.
Now those poor people who got wrapped up, oh yea – killed, in that Benghazi uprising. That was just unfortunate. Obama said he knew nothing about it, I believe him. I think some more pixie dust is in order. Sprinkle, sprinkle.
The Bible tells us that in the end times a powerful charismatic man will become ruler over the whole Earth. He is called the Antichrist. I am not inferring that Obama is that man. I just want to show you how easy it will be for us to welcome Mr. 666 into our opened arms. Hitler rose to power with the blessings of the German people.
The President we currently have, if left unfettered, will break Americas back and drive us into socialism. The war we face is real and eminent. Yet we can’t fight the President. Just try it and you will end up with a bunch of Secret Service Agents on top of you.
On our knees is how we must fight. Only the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob can see us through. He is our strength and shield. He is our strong arm, mighty to face the foe.
Now that we have been whipped into a frenzy over the election and have lost handily it is time to take a stand for that which is right. Pray, my Christian friends, that God’s hand will reveal the evil in our country. That He will expose the sin that has entrenched itself deep within the fiber of America. That truth will prevail over lies.
The God I serve is more than mighty enough to whip this foe. The battle is just beginning. The fray is just starting. We did not lose yesterday…

Prayer, belief in the might of our God, and commitment to the Lordship of Jesus Christ is the only way. This is a silent war waged in the spirit realm. You will not hear the clashing of swords but you will feel the darts of the enemy. Pull them out and trample them under your feet for you are “the head and not the tail.” Mighty is our God.
